Entrego & GREEN ANTZ promote responsible disposal of single-use plastics in BGC, Taguig.
Entrego recently renewed its partnership with Green Antz Builders supporting its mission in promoting responsible disposal of single-use plastic wastes. Under this partnership, Entrego, with support from AC Infra, funded the operation of Green Antz’s plastic drop-off kiosk in BGC for 15 days, 9 April to 16 July 2022. Plastics that are handed over in this collection point are made into eco-bricks.
Last year, our sponsorship to Green Antz resulted in a collection of one thousand eight hundred forty four kilograms (1,844 kilograms) of recyclable plastics from the public. This means that almost 2 tons of plastics - equivalent to 1 L300 van filled with plastics - did not end up in landfills or the oceans.
We encourage all Entrego employees to support our cause by taking your clean and dry plastics and beverage cartons to Green Antz collection hub at Bonifacio High Street, every Saturday. This partnership with Green Antz is one of our contributions to creating a healthier environment.
The Philippines is the 3rd largest contributor to ocean plastic according to a 2015 report by Ocean Conservancy and Mckinsey for Business and Environment.
